Our client, Descente, a sportswear brand, wanted to explore the digital environment and advertise their brand targeting women who use their mobile devices to read magazines. The concept of the ad was to drive people to exercise in a somewhat natural way in their daily life and show them the products and get people to visit the e-commerce site. By using motion detection on mobile device, we gamified the experience to draw people to exercise using their iPad and show them a fun and easy way to workout. We published it in the May 2014 issue of Cosmopolitan digital magazine.
USER FLOW
- Type a number you want between 10 and 30
- Stretch your arms out while holding your device and move up and down for 20 seconds
- Once you move your arms up and down, the countdown begins and counts once per move
- If accomplished, an ad shows up and you can see a video, information of a product, a link to the e-commerce site.
